BETH Lead Nurse

I trained at The Nightingale School of Nursing at St Thomas’ Hospital London and qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).  I have worked in the Acute Trust and transferred to community nursing in general practice specialising in general practice nursing across Bexley and Bromley.  I am currently working at South View Partnership in Bromley as a Practice Nurse Facilitator and it is my genuine desire to improve the training and support of the nursing workforce in Bromley.

Rachel Simo
BETH Lead Nurse

I qualified as an RGN in 1992 at the York and Scarborough School of Nursing. For the past 19 years’ I have been working in Primary Care in a GP Practice in Chislehurst. I started as a Practice Nurse and over the next 6 years completed diplomas in Asthma care and Diabetes management in primary care. In 2009 I qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with a BSc 1st class honours degree. I have also gained a PGCert in Non-Medical Prescribing.

For the past 3 years’ I have also been working as a Nurse Facilitator for Bromley GP Alliance and recently became the Health Care Assistant lead. This is a very rewarding role and enables me to use my experience and knowledge in primary care to provide support and guidance to the nurses and HCA’s working in GP Practices in Bromley.
